Focus Desk
Work out how much depth of field a shot actually has, and what "equivalent" hides. Matching a frame across sensor sizes needs a different lens, and the different lens has a different depth at the same stop - so a 50mm T2.8 on full frame is a 35.9mm T2 on Super 35, not a 35.9mm T2.8, and matching a T1.3 on Micro Four Thirds would need a T0.7 that does not exist. Computes depth from the real equations, reports it as the distance an actor can move, and makes explicit the circle of confusion every other calculator hides. Five lanes plan, check, depth, equivalence and deliver. The engine is free and runs in the browser.
