Clean

Works out what a GIF actually plays at. A GIF stores each frame's delay as a whole number of centiseconds, so the only frame rates it has are 100/n - and 24, 30 and 60, the three commonest rates in video, are all absent. An exporter asked for 30 picks 3 ticks and records nothing about it, so 300 frames come out at 9.00 seconds instead of 10, and a second short again on every loop. There is a fix almost nobody uses: mix the delays, because [3,3,4] over three frames averages to exactly 30. Five lanes over one clip's clock and palette, plus a free browser-side engine.

Every public app is built from a security-scanned skill and must pass a clean scan — skill and frontend — before it can be listed. Have a skill of your own? Turn it into an app — or read the step-by-step walkthrough.
