Hic Est - stitch a small saga into a tapestry, then read it like a historian

Paste the story of one small real-life saga - a party, a power cut, a lost key - as told by one, two or three people. Free in the browser: the accounts split into sentences and a rough stitch of up to eight scenes from the first account (a keyword motif, the people named and a draft 'Here ...' caption each), drawn as an embroidered linen strip with borders, trees and a woven label, plus the source rule (one teller makes it the teller's version). One metered task stitches four to eight captioned scenes, sets any disputed points side by side, and reads the record like a historian: whose version it is, what it leaves out, the slow, direct and sudden causes, what changed and what stayed, a pattern historians know, notes for the border and one question for the record.
