Rehearse a small real-life ask like a branching game before you say it - a favour, a seat swap, sending something back, a forgotten name, saying no to an invite. Free in the browser: describe the moment, who you are asking, the ask, the reply you dread and what you would settle for; the page reads the ask by a fixed rule (say it, sharpen it, or shrink it) and builds a sketch tree you can play at once on a four-wedge dialogue wheel, with a route of beads and an endings gallery that opens each ending as you reach it. One metered task writes the full tree for your moment: a one-line ask, three openers, three to six replies from them with branching choices, a yes, a half-yes and a kind no, the dreaded reply marked, and three delivery tips.
