Keyboard Crayons

Make pictures and signs out of plain keyboard characters (ASCII art) that paste anywhere text goes - a README, a code comment, a chat, a terminal, a plain-text email or a printed note. Free in the browser: big block letters from the page's own five-row font, six frames, a cat, owl, robot, dog or fish under a speech bubble, a photo turned into text (never uploaded), and a sheet of tractor-feed paper to stamp pieces onto and paint, erase or type on one character at a time, with copy and download as plain text, Markdown, code comments or a PNG. One metered task, sketch, draws a small picture of what you name inside a box you choose; the page decides first what fits (a short box holds fewer things, words on a sign go to Big letters) and checks the picture against the box afterwards.
