One Match Left - sharpen your two-sentence scary story
Paste a two-sentence scary story you wrote and pick a tone. Free in the browser: the draft split into sentences, an open matchbook with the first line on the cover and one match per word of the last sentence, tap a word to strike the match where you think it turns, cue words for a threat named too soon, words that tell the reader how to feel, words that explain the twist and waking-up endings, and Markdown, CSV, SVG and JSON exports. One metered task finds the word where the story turns and gives one verdict by a fixed order - make it two, named too soon, no turn yet, cut the tail or strike it - with up to four notes that quote the draft and a sharpened two-sentence version with its turn in its last four words; the page re-checks every reply.
