Plyquarry — a rules sandbox for inventing abstract strategy games
A rules sandbox for inventing two-player abstract strategy games. Build a ruleset from controls - square or hex board 4x4 to 10x10, pieces drawn on a move stencil (steps, slides, leaps), capture by replacement, jumping or custodial trapping, placement and movement phases, win conditions (connect N, reach the far row, capture all, majority, immobilise), actions per turn and a ply limit - then play it on the board against yourself or a random, greedy or minimax engine, and auto-play hundreds of seeded games for the first-player win rate, draw rate, game length and which win condition decides games. A model critiques the balance with findings tied to the numbers and rule changes you accept beside the controls and re-simulate, or writes a printable rules card. Built on the skill @jwynia/abstract-strategy by jwynia.
