Slow Slow Quick - a beginner dance routine phrased to your song
Tap the beat of the song you want to dance to - a first dance, a party dance-off or practice at home. Free in the browser: a tap-tempo pad and a playable count, a tempo ruler of eleven ballroom-style dances (approximate competition tempos, treated as estimates) with a fit for each, the verdict rule (dance it as is, keep it simpler, or switch the dance), the phrase budget of the music, and a sketch routine drawn on a parquet floor with footprints and a count ribbon. One metered task writes a beginner routine that fills the music phrase by phrase - figures, counts, cues for the leader and the partner - plus a practice plan for the days you have and a few watch-outs, with no lifts, dips or jumps. The page re-checks every reply against its own tempo fit, phrase count and figure limit. Built on @dylantarre/rhythm-pacing.
