They Served - an honest 11 November tribute from what your family knows

A tribute writer for Remembrance Day, Veterans Day and Armistice Day (11 November). Type what your family knows about a relative who served, one fact per line. Free in the browser: every fact sorted into on record, family story or not known (correctable with a tag), the pronoun to use, a manila service file of the three piles, and a verdict by a fixed rule (check before sharing, mostly family stories, on record). One metered reply writes a title, a plaque line, a tribute of the length you chose that states only what is on record and tells family stories as stories, a note on how each fact was used, the questions to ask and what to check before sharing - inventing no rank, unit, place, date, medal or memory. Exports to plain text, Markdown, JSON and a fact-ledger CSV. Built on @rhavekost/narrative-nonfiction.
