Type Case - two fonts for the thing you are making
Say what you are making (a menu card, an invitation, a landing page, a poster), where it is read (screen, in the hand, on a wall), the feel you want and what to avoid, and type its real headline and body text. Free in the browser: a letterpress case of thirteen bundled SIL Open Font License faces, a composing stick that sets your own words in any heading and body pair at any weight and size, and proof marks (a display face set as body, body under a rule-of-thumb floor for the venue, a heading too close to the body size, an estimated characters-per-line, an x-height gap measured from the font files), plus CSS, Markdown and JSON exports. Two metered lanes over the same brief: find a pair (three pairings from the case - safe, character, wild card - proofed in your own words, or questions first when the brief is thin) and check my pair (keep it, tweak the sizes, or swap a face). The page re-checks every reply against the case, the weights each face has and the size rules. Built on @curiositech/typography-expert.
